The detailed import and export data released by the General Administration of Customs on the 23rd shows that China ’s alumina imports in October were 240,000 tons, an increase of 60% from 150,000 tons in September, and an increase of 397.9% over the same period last year, which continued to surge, mainly due to the same period last year.  The base is low.  From January to October, 1.03 million tons of alumina were imported, a year-on-year increase of 125.3%.  In terms of exports, alumina exports in October were 4,239 tons, a decrease of 99.1% year-on-year, and cumulative exports from January to October were 227,373 tons, a decrease of 77.2% year-on-year.
